YSL
Yves Saint Laurent is established in 1962 by Yves Saint Laurent himself and his partner Pierre Berge. During the 1960s and 1970s the fashion house popularized trends such as the beatnik look, safari jackets for men and women, tights pants. In 1966 the brand created its most famous creation: the tuxedo suit for women - Le Smoking suit. Yves Saint Laurent popularized also the idea of wearing silhouettes from the 1920s/1930s. In attempt to democratize fashion he was the first one to mainstream pret-a-porter. In 1993 the fashion house was firstly sold to Sanofi and then in 2002 to Gucci Group. Tom Ford has been designing the pret-a-porter collections while Yves Saint Laurent was the designer of the haute couture line. In 2002 Yves Saint Laurent closed the illustriuos house of YSL. The brand still exists through its parent company Gucci Group. We provide the latest pret-a-porter collection of YSL.
