GURU
In 1999 Matteo Cambi starts designing the marguerite and founds Guru company. For a single year the cute flower logo sells more than 200 000 t-shirts. The success continues also the next years, making possible that the company creates Guru Gang brand for boys and girls in the age from 4 to 16 in 2003 and next year Guru Baby Gang is launched – a brand for children from 0 till 3 years. The success of the label continues, Guru becomes sponsor of Renault Corse in 2005 and buys the dutch label Blue Blood. Guru provides streetwear defined by the values immediacy, fun, enthusiasm. Guru is a lifestyle brand that meets its costumers demands of self expression, stating its modern metropolitan philosophy as design of provocations and small original inventions.
