Monschino is a fashion label created by Franco Moschino in 1983. The first womenswear collection is launched the same year in Milan. In 1985 the first men's collection is presented and a year later is launched also the women's Jeans line. The next step is to release a perfume line and this happens in 1987. The secondary women's line is presented in 1988. Franco Moschino releases his first campaign in 1992 in order to provoke the social consciousness. The 10th anniversary of the brand is celebrated with the release of the book "X years of chaos". On 18th September 1994 Franco Moschino disappears and Rossela Jardini becomes the new creative director. For the 20th anniversary of the brand Moschino moves to its new headquarters at via San Gregorio 28 in Milan. In 2008 the name of Moschino Jeans is changed to Love Moschino. The same year the lines Moschino Helmets and Moschino Cheap and Chic Warches and Jewel are born. In 2010 the hotel Maison Moschino opens doors for visitor at viale Monte Grappa 12 in Milano. Monschino is worldwide famous for its innavative, colorful, eccentric designs, for the criticism of the fashion industry and the social awareness campaigns.
