Zegna is a still family owned company founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna. The company gains a reputation of a quality producer of wool suits. In 1938 the production is sold overseas in the USA. In 1966 they take over the business and two years later the first pret-a-porter suits are launched, produced by the Zegna's factory in Novara. In 1973 opens a factory in Spain and two years later also in Greece. In 1999 Zegna Group has eight factories in Italy, two in Spain, three in Switzerland, one in Mexico and one in Turkey.
